Rothay House is a upside down house, that is to say 2 rooms are on the ground floor & 1 room is on the first floor with the dinning room. We are just off the main road on the

one- way system as you come into Ambleside, a 5 minute walk to the town centre. For room sizes please see our access statement. Also steps up to the front door.

Non-Smoking

we have a strict no smoking policy in all rooms & also the grounds. Anyone found to be smoking will be asked to leave & be charge 1 extra night in line with our terms & conditions.

Arrivals

Rooms are available from 3.30pm, but if guests wish to arrive early, cars may be left in our car park ( if space available ) & have look around Ambleside. Please let us know if you wish to do this, Also can ring the bell & if room is ready we do allow to check in then.

Departure

Rooms must be vacate by 10.30am to allow servicing of the rooms for incoming guests. Cars can be left up to 2pm

On request we can do an early breakfast.

We have 1 EV charging point £5 for a overnight charge.
